Estimate & Change Order Approval Terms

Last updated June 9, 2026

These terms apply when you approve an estimate or a change order that a contractor sends you through Bulrix. In these terms, “the contractor” means the business named on the document you are approving, and “you” means the customer approving it. Bulrix provides the software the contractor uses to send documents and collect approvals — your agreement is with the contractor, not with Bulrix.

1. What your approval means

Approving an estimate authorizes the contractor to proceed with the work listed on it, at the price listed on it. The scope of work is what the document describes — your approval does not agree to anything beyond it.

2. Changes to the work

If the scope or price needs to change after you approve, the contractor will send you a change order describing the change. A change order takes effect only after you approve it the same way, and once approved it adjusts the project total.

3. Payment

Payment is due according to the invoice the contractor issues for the work, including any approved change orders. The invoice states the amount due and how to pay.

4. Electronic acceptance

Typing your name and checking the agreement box is your electronic acceptance of the document, with the same effect as signing it on paper. The date, time, and IP address of your acceptance are recorded together with the name you typed.

5. Cancellations and questions

To cancel, reschedule, or ask anything about the work, contact the contractor directly using the contact details shown on the estimate or invoice. Bulrix does not perform the work and cannot change or cancel it on the contractor’s behalf.

6. Governing law and additional terms PLACEHOLDER

[PLACEHOLDER — to be completed: the governing law and state for these terms, and any business-specific clauses such as warranties, deposits, scheduling, or cancellation windows.] Until this section is completed, any additional terms printed on the estimate or change order itself also apply.
